Suno introduces Covers, a feature that lets you take any audio, from simple recordings to fully produced songs, and transform it into a whole new style while preserving the original melody. Our newest feature, available in early beta, lets you experiment with different music genres, add lyrics to instrumentals, and even change your own vocals.
How to Make a Suno Cover
- Find a song in your music library or on the Create page.
- Right-click or tap on the vertical three dots “…” menu.
- Hover over Create and select Cover Song.
- The original lyrics are automatically imported into the cover song. For best results, it's recommended to keep the lyrics unchanged at first, but you can modify or add lyrics as you experiment.
Usage of Suno Cover
- 🎤 From Instrumentals to Vocals: Create multi-layered musical compositions by adding lyrics to instrumental tracks.
- 🦋Convert uploaded audio: Try uploading a clip of yourself singing, humming, or playing an instrument and reinterpret it using the cover feature.
This feature is now available to all Pro/Premier subscribers, and comes with 100 free covers!
Cost of Suno Cover
- The first 200 covers are free.
- After 200 times, each new cover will cost 10 points , similar to the cost of generating a new song.
